With the development of rubber industry, rubber process oil has played more and more important role in the robber industry. The launch of green, environment-friendly naphthenic robber process oil of Karamay has successfully broken the complexion that high-grade robber products market had been monopolized by overseas or Taiwan manufacturers and has been welcome to the three biggest robber manufacturers in China. But, during the use of naphthenic robber process oil, the common disadvantage of high-pressure hydrotreatment process has gradually emerged, that is, bad light & heat stability. High-pressure hydrotreatment technology has been developed since 1980s or so. On one hand, its advantages have been extensively recognized by the petroleum industry. On the other hand, how to overcome the disadvantage of bad light & heat stability has become a new task to many petroleum engineers. So far, though nitride, PCA(poly-cyclic aromtics) and basic nitrogen etc. opinions have been put forward, they don't solve the problem completely. The results shows that adopting new process route and adding complex additive of light and heat stability can improve the light and heat stability of KN4010 naphthenic rubber oil by producing in high pressure hydro-treated process unit, remain KN4010 naphthenic rubber oil original colour by heating at 160℃ or by exposing to sunlight in air for three days (Saybolt color >+20), this can meet the quality demand of rubber industry for the light and heat stability of rubber oil.
