Chapter 1: Introduction of acylhydrazonesAcylhydrazones as special schiff base, have strong coordination ability, good biological activities and other excellent properties, make them to be potential drugs and functional materials. In recent years, scientists have paid more attention to these compounds. The definition, classification, properties and applications of acylhydrazones have been introduced in this paper.Chapter 2: Synthesis and Characterizations of Some New DiacylhydrazonesNitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds and their derivatives have found greater application as intermediates of medicine, pesticide, dye and otherfine chemical engineering's products. The introduction of nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds and their derivatives into some organic compounds generally brings about increased bioactivity of the organic compounds. Because of their highselectivity and bioactivity, nitrogen-containing compounds play an important role in the research and exploitation of drugs and have become the focus of research in pesticides and medicines. In this paper, some new diacylhydrazones are synthesized by reaction of corresponding aromatic aldehydes with 2,6-dimethylpyridine-3, 5-dicarbohydrazide. Their structures were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR and ~1H NMR.Chapter 2: Synthesis of tetrazole-acethydrazonesThe tetrazole, existing in nature, are of great significance in the research and exploitation of drugs. There are tetrazole rings in the structures of many clinic medicines. At the same time, many newly developedcompounds containing tetrazole ring also have bioactivitv. In conclusion, seven novel compounds with potential bioactivity were synthesized by reaction of corresponding aromatic aldehydes with 5-acethydrazide-1H-tetrazole in 68%-92% yields. Their structures were confirmed by elemental analysis, and ~1H NMR.
