This paper studies the workface's roof and top coal movement law and phenomenon of underground pressure trait by strata control observation in 93 _上01 incline fully mechanized coal face of Nantun colliery.It evaluates supports suitable to workface's roof movement and mining methods then provides scientific proof for workface roof management.In order to study the dip strata displacement and side abutment phenomenon law in incline fully mechanized coal face we observed phenomenon of underground pressure in cover rock breah and dip strata displacement areas.By observating we know tha the tilt rock movement to dig area and the same dip strata displacement distribution in sides.We carried similar material imitation with up-dip mining method experiment,with it we studied the cover rock movement and breach laws in incline fully mechanized coal face.The results of this paper have the important directing meaning to the similar workface'design and production.
