Culturing Spirulina platensis using wastewater was a microagla engineering with greatly applied potential. The ferment wastewater of monosodium glutamate was a kind of organic wastewater with high concentration of COD and NH/-N, it also had plentiful inorganic salts. Letting the wastewater directly was not only a pollution but also wasting many available nutrient matters in it. If culturing Spirulina platensis using the ferment wastewater of monosodium glutamate was feasible, the alga could be used as feed or material of chemical engineering, at the same time the nutriments in the wastewater were consumed and the wastewater was purified. So the feasibility of culturing Spirulina platensis using the ferment wastewater was investigated detailedly. The effects on the growth , chlorophyll, the content of protein and photosynthesis of Sprulina platensis under different concentrations ofglutamic acid, glucose, urea, ammonium sulphate and ammonium acetate which were in many organic wastewater were investigated. The best concentrations and the endurable concentrations of each gene utilized by Sprulina platensis were ascertained. The best concentration of Glu used by Sprulina was 0.8 g/L, and the maximal biologic quantity could reach to 1.27 g/L. When the concentration of G was 3 g/L, the alga grew faster than other samples, and the cell's density got to 1.71 g/L at the end of culturing and was 1.25 times of reference's. The best concentrations of urea, ammonium sulphate and ammonium acetate were all 0.2 g/L, and the endurable concentrations of three ammonium salts were 0.6,0.5 and 0.6 g/L respectively. This research offered academic base for confecting simulant wastewater.According to the reports and on the base of above experiments, the simulant ferment wastewater were confected. The method of culturing the alga using simulant wastewater was that the wastewater was diluted by culture medium. Effect on the growth of alga by the concentration of the wastewater and the treatment of the wastewater were investigated. The concentration of the wastewater treated by Spirulina could reach to 90 % 。 When the concentration of wastewater was 40%, the growth of the alga was fastest. The removing rates of COD and NH/-N are 78.9%, 85.1% respectively when the concentration of the wastewater was 50%.The ion-exchanged wastewater and isoelectric wastewater were...
