The PI/Ag nano-composite film was prepared by single stage self-metallization techniques. It had both highly reflective and surface conductive at 10% silver. The adhesion between the PI and silver had been improved. Herein, it was been discussed that the influence of macromoleculer stucture to the surface performance.The relationship between flexiblility of the macromoleculer and the metallied films was been investigated. The matrix was synthesized by PMDA/ODA, BTDA/ODA and ODPA/ODA. The Tg of the PI was determinded by DMTA. It displayed the flexiblility of the three systems. Compared reflectivity of the metallized films, the PI with the -C=O will gain the highly reflective. The metallied films prepared by BTDA/ODA were better. However, they had no suface conductivity. The morphology of the silver was showed by TEM. It was bigger in the metallied film prepared by BTDA/ODA.The ASD was incorporated in the BTDA/ODA. The influence of the group S was investigated. The reflectivity and surface resistivity of the metallied films were measured at the different ASD content. It displayed that the reflecivity was increased and then dropped with the S rise.
