Polyaniline (PAn) is considered to be the most prospective in application among the various conjugated conducting polymers because it low price, simple method of synthesizing and high conductivity.The study emphasized on finding out a convenient and suitable way by which Y2O3 nanoparticles with attractive optical, electrical and magnetic functions can be intercalated into PAn to synthesize a new type of organic-inorganic nanohybrid materials. The correlative reports have not been seen in all of literatures.Using HCl and TSA as doped reagent respectively, PAn/Y2O3 nanohybrid materials were synthesized with sol-in situ polymerization method. Firstly, colloidal yttria which adsorb by DBS was prepared by sol-gel method. Then aniline monomers were initiated to occur in-situ polymerization.
