The exploit and utilization of biomass energy is an effective method for relieving the pressures of energy crisis and environmental pollution. Cellulose hydrolysis technology which can convert biomass energy to reducing sugars, and with the fermentation of reducing sugars ,we can get ethanol and other high add-value chemical material. In this paper cellulose was hydrolyzed with extremely low acid (ELA) as the catalyst by batch reactor. Factors influencing the sugar yield and cellulose conversion ratio by hydrolysis including reaction temperature, time and pressure etc. were studied systematically. The acid of the concentration under 0.1% is generally named as ELA..Under the optimal condition of 0.05% H2SO4 concentration ,215℃ and 40atm etc., reducing sugars yield reached to 46.55% and cellulose conversion ratio was 55.07%.Simultaneously when organic acids were chosen as catalysts, it was found that acid sorts had few influences on cellulose conversion but great impacts on sugar yield. This attempt set a way to the utilization of the organic acids produced by biomass pyrolysis and can turn the energy integrating utilization of biomss to realization. The condition of fuel ethanol production were determined in experiment under the experiential condition of shaking flask and the following were the optimal conditions: fermenting temperature 28℃,fermenting period 72h ,rotating rate80100r/min,and the ratio of Saccharomyces cervisiae to reducing sugars l:10,and the ethanol we got 0.134g/g.,The condition was so severe that it's still difficult to put it to commercial use.We also conduct the kinetic medel that express the relation of the conversion to the staying time.Considering the conversion of hydrolysis, the paper put forward the use of the continuouse reactor, and remove the reducing sugars we got during the experiment in order to reduce the decomperstion of reducing sugars and increase the yield of reducing sugars.
