Nanometer TiO2 has been studied and utilized widely for its excellent properties, such as: safety, innocuity, low-cost, no secondary pollution, and with the functions of antibiosis and antisepsis. In this article, the three-phrase inner-loop fluidized bed system was applied in the photo-catalytic reaction. Three-phrase fluidized bed photo-catalytic reactor had been designed and primly studied. The photo-catalytic reactor was used to deal with waste water from hospital, and the treatment effect has been tested. Put forward for the idea of three-phrase inner-loop fluidized bed system was applied in design of the photo-catalytic reaction. Calculation basis was brought forward, which is A/V value of photo-catalytic reactor(the rate of illumination area vs.reaction area liquor volume). The radiate orderliness of ultraviolet radiation in the water was studied, made certain that efficiency interval of 20 wattes'ultraviolet lamp was 30mm, and thereout made certain difference of the radius of inside and outside. Minimum fluidized velocity was calculated. Three-phrase fluidized bed photo-catalytic reactor was manufactured. The photocatalyst of TiO2 was used to test photo-catalytic reaction with escherichia coli as indicative bacterium. The sterilization effects of some factors, such as dosage of nanometer titanium dioxide, pH of waste water, dosage of oxygens, and reaction time, had been studied. The photo-catalysis removing efficiency could be neared to 99% with 30g photocatalyst in 4000ml waste water for 90 minute. Average time of waste water was studied.
