The stability of rock slope is very important in hydroelectric, railway and highway engineering. This problem can directly influence on construction time,investment, safety and environment, and which involves a lot of knowledge, such as rock-soil, geological, construction and environment(protection). Especially blasting vibration is the major factor that affects on the high-steep slope. In this paper, A study of effect of blasting vibration on high-steep slope stability on base of eastern open-pit of Daye Iron Mine. Through study of generation and transmission law of the seismic wave and it's attenuating rule with time, effect of vibration intensity to safety of the structure is analyzed, a systematic discussion of the effect of delayed time, seismic frequency and vibration time to the blasting vibration is also made. Non-uniformity of the amplifying effect and dimension effect of the slope. Calculation methods of the slope stability under the effect of blasting vibration are discussed synthetically.Based on the theory of damage and fracture, in this paper, analysed question of stability of slope through the mechanism of damage and cumulation of damage under random and cycle stress, which helps to forecast and control the stability of slope more reasonably.In this paper, According to the fact of eastern open-pit of Daye Iron Mine, we have been observed and analysed blasting vibration and slope displacement to verify generation and transmission law of the seismic wave. According to the fact of eastern open-pit of Daye Iron Mine, programme system of CAD of slope displacement measure. Applied this system, not only it can improve efficiency of statistic and forecast of observed data, can judge instance of slope stability more fast and exact, can save time and labor, but also it can be data-base.The theory research and analysis result of blasting vibration and slope displacement, it meets the engineering case well. It has some value to the research of the mechanics and effect of the blasting vibration and blasting safety criterion as well as the engineering application of different blasting opening and methods of observing slope displacement and is helpful to direct the design of slope blasting.
