Twenty-five kinds of big wild white rotten fungi were collected and purified from four nature-protected areas in the northeast of China. A range of oxidases of these fungi were examined in quality.Six species of white rotten fungi were seilected to use in the study of decolorization.A high efficient and wide range decolorization fungus,Pycnoporus sanguineus was found in the decolorization of four kinds of dyes.Orthogonal test indicated decolorization rate of gongo red could reach as high as 89.04% under the nitrogen-limited condition for five days;The decolorization rate could reach as high as 98.01% when the trace elements were added to the culture medium;0n this basis,the dye (Gongo red)'s decolorizion rate obviously failed during the five days when we added revulsant to the culture medium.Data of orthogonal test was dealt with DPS software,the result showed the ultimate reason was that the guaiacol was added to the culture medium.We used various carriers to immobilize Pycnoporus sanguineus to decolor Gongo red,then the active carbon carriers' decolorization reached 77%,the sodium alginate carriers' decolorization reached 56% and the free mycelium's decolorization reached 58% in five days.The dye decolorization tests were carried out on Pycnoporus sanguineus which was immobilized by sodium alginate and polyvinyl alcohol respectively in the fixed bed column.The result showed that the former had a higher decolorization rate to Congo red,which was 92.86%,while the latter was only 22.97%.Close relationship between microcapsules diameter and decolorization had been declared.A kind of microcapsules creator which could create microcapsules of 300um had been designed.Without veratryl alcohol,UV spectrum of four kinds of dyes had been detected in six days.No certification indicated that the methylene blue was degraded.Yet biomass of Pycnoporus sanguineus had been found increased. Meanwhile other 3 dyestuffs had degraded in different levels.
