Nylon(Polyamide,abbreviation in English is PA)is one of the five popular engineering plastics.lt behaves many good properties and is useful in lots of fields.Being productive and depleted,nylon66 takes 50% percent of nylon family in production.It's strong,and easy to be modified.AIong with the development of industry,the need for nylon resin is growing.The properties,such as strength,fire-resistance,freezing resistance and so on will be asked rigiditly.Investing high quality and high function nylon products so as to meet the need of the bursting industry is of great importance.This article is about the investment of a kind of nylon resin,which has good complex properties.In it,we study the effection of anti-heat agent,synergistic antioxidant,molecular weight modifier,end-block agent and etc.We also study the addition of MAH-grafted-PP which is useful for the toughness of nylon66 resin,and the effection of plasticizer and flame retardant to the normal properties of nylon66.We analysised the mechanical characteristics of nylon66 with the standard method.Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and infrar-red spectrometry(IR) have been used to analysis the properties of modified nylon66 and grafted polypropylene.Viscometry has been used to determine the molecular weight.We also use plastic combustion and plastic subzero pleating method to analysis the properties of modified nylon66 resin.From our experimental results,we can draw the following conclusions:Being stabilized the molecular structure,nylon66 is easy to prevent from aging.To obtain such resault,the amido bonds should be strengthened,and the end of the molecule should be stabized.Controlling the molecular weight and adding protectant can stop the effect of light,heat,oxide and water.The anti-aging property can be improved when the molecular weight of nylon66 become higher.Blending with elastomer,polyamide66 behaves good toughness.We mix the grafted elastomer with nylon resin,and get the best resault.The amount ofelastomer should be controlled in a range,because bending strength will be lower when we add more elastomer in it.The more the maleic anhydride was put in,the more grafted polypropylene we get.But when the concentration of maleic anhydride reach a degree,the reaction of grafting become stable.The grafted degree will decrease when the time goes by.Blending is still one of the easiest method to modify nylon resin.Among the different kinds of flame retardants,the best ones belong to nitrogen family,and they will not cause environmental pollution.Adding plasticizer is helpful for processing products.When mixxing with DOP and DOA,the system can modify the weatherability of resin. We select solvent black and nylon black for mixing pifment to get black nylon resin.In this paper,we have investigated a kind of nylon resin with good complexed properties,including synergistic antioxidant,flexibilizer,flame retardant,plasticizer ects.We also studied the condesation polymerization of anti-aging nylon66 resin,explored the technic process of plasticizing with grafted-MAH. Based on the results,we found that because there are "-CO-NH-"bonds in the nylon molecules,it is easy to be modified.By this method ,we could get modified nylon66 with better properties.Modified nylon resin while being polymerized,prevent the resin from aging.At the same time,we achieve superior toughness property with mormal streteching strength and bending strength.Beside these,the modified nylon66 behave good integration property.
