In this thesis, it was studied that application of cyclopalladated ferrocenylimines anchored on active carbon as highly efficient catalyst into Heck reaction in organic solvents and neat water as follows:I. The Cyclopalladated ferrocennylimines (Scheme 1) anchored on active carbon were prepared and applied to Heck reaction in organic system.Scheme 11. The palladacycle complexes exit as two diastereoisomers. So eight cyclopalladated ferrocennylimines anchored on active carbon were obtained and applied to Heck reaction. However, the catalytic efficiency is not significantly influenced by steric hindered effect (Scheme 2) in case of the arylation of ethyl acrylate with iodobenzene.2. The coupling reaction of aryl iodides, bromides and chlorides with differentolefins catalyzed by catalyst 2 and 4 was studied. It was found that compounds 2 and 4 anchored on active carbon are efficient catalyst for the Heck reaction in the case of aryl bromides and aryl chlorides as substrates (Scheme 3).
