This article is written about pulverized coal injection of Maanshan I & S Co. Havecarried on systematic experimental study using 8 kinds of injecton coal supplied byMaanshan I & S Co.under the actual working condition of injection in BF of Maanshan I &S Co., have made the proper coal for the BF of Maanshan I & S Co. and the rationalscheme of injection proportion on the foundation of experiments.Determination of industrial analysis, constant volume net calorific power, elementaryanalysis, plastometer indice, ash composition, grindablity, ash fusion point, ractivity,combustion and transportation performance of the 8 kinds of coal. It is according to thequality requirements of the coal for injection in BF and the practical production conditionof the BF of Maanshan I & S Co., the Shengfu coal of bituminite is the first choice forinjection, the Datong coal of bituminite is the better stand-by one, and the YongchengQingding coal of anthracite is the first choice, the Baishan and Jiaozuo coal are the betterstand-by ones.Increasing the match of bituminite in the mixed pulverized coal, which can improvecombustion process of the under mixed pulverized coal condition of injection at BF,improve the transportation performance of the pulverized coal and increase the reactivityof the unburned pulverized coal in the BF. When grain size of the pulverized coal is thick,improving it will effect the combustion process of the mixed pulverized coal and thetransportation process greatly; When it is thin, the result is contrary. Considering of all thecombustion process, transportation process, power consumption of coal grinding and safetyunder the condition of injection at BF, if injects 50% Yongcheng Qingding coal with 50%Shenfu coal as well as controlling the proportion of the mixed pulverized coal of -200sieve number at 60% or so, it is more proper at the 2500m~3 BF of Maanshan I & S Co.Increasing moisture content in the coal will take unfavourable effections on the coalcombustion process under the condition of injection at BF. But the proper quantities ofmoisture in the coal can make the coal get a good transportation performance. Consideringof the real condition of production in the injection milling system and the combustionprocess along with the transportation performance of coal under the condition of injectionat BF, if injects 50% Yongcheng Qingding coal with 50% Shenfu coal as well ascontrolling moisture content in the mixed pulverized coal at 1% or so, it is more proper atthe 2500m3 BF of Maanshan I & S Co.
