Based on the systematic analysis of the research results on the leachate characteristicsand its treatment methods at home and abroad, this study research the landfill leachate ofTangshan city. Based on analysis of component and characteristic of landfill leachate, Thispaper put forward "ammonia stripping + coagulating + SBR + adsorpting"technics to treatthe later period leachate.In the stripping pretreatment experiments course,it was studied emphasize oninfluence of stripping time and PH on stripping result. The results showed that strippingresults was best when pH was 10.5 and stripping time was ten hours, and the efficiency ofNH3-N stripping added up to 50%.In the coagulating experiments course, it researchedcoagulating effectiveness in the process of PAC and PAM treating leachate and determinedoptimum service conditions. Its results were best when dosage of PAC was 800mg/L andPAM was 80mg/L and pH was 9 and sedimentation time was two hours. In the optimumcondition, the efficiency of CODcr and NH3-N stripping over 50% and 30%. Biochemistryexperiments adopted SBR method that it suited to treat effluent with more organic matter.The results showed that it had good effect on landfill leachate treated by stripping andcoagulating. In the biochemistry experiments course, it was studied specificly influence ofaeration time and pH on treating result, and the efficiency of CODcr and NH3-N strippingadded up to 40% and 50% when pH was 8 and station time was about sixteen hours.Leachate treated by biochemistry was adsorpted by activated carbon, and it was optimumadsorpting condition when dosage of activated carbon was 50g/L and adsorpting time waseight hours, and the efficiency of CODcr, NH3-N and chromaticity stripping added up to40%, 20% and 90%. In determining stripping, coagulating, biochemistry and adsorptingmain technics condition, connection in series experiments had been done in optimumcondition, and it could strip 83.92% CODcr, 76.53% NH3-N,95.38% turbidness and93.75% chromaticity.
