The liquid-magnetic abrasive tool finishing technology is an innovative finishing technology that takes advantage of the theory of magnetorheological fluid. It has typical liquid characteristics when there is no external magnetic field around it. But when a strong magnetic field is applied, the viscosity of it will increase more than 100 times within a few milliseconds, and it will show the characteristics those are resemble to solid's. Its strength is described by shear stress, and with the increase of magnetic flux density, the strength increases. It should be noted that the liquid-magnetic abrasive tool would show the liquid's behavior back rapidly as soon as the external magnetic field is removed. We call this feature asrheological property. To traditional finishing technology, it is very difficult to process the inside face and the complex or irregular face. Usually, the device designed to process one work is not applicable to another and generally, there is tension stress left inside the processed surface. While to the liquid-magnetic abrasive tool finishing technology, before magnetic field being fixed, the abrasive tool can easily contact any kind of surface because of the liquid property. After the magnetic field being applied, the abrasive tool change to solid and the abrasers is pressed onto the surface to be processed. Then the surface can be processed when there is relative movement between abrasive tool with surface. On based of representing the theory of liquid-magnetic abrasive tool finishing, this paper researched the material's removal regular and mixed several abrasive tools with different compounding. Then getting how the each component to influence the processing effect by experiments.
