With further development of oilfield, the technology of multiphase mixture transportation has been applied extensively. We can better design and administer the multiphase flow pipeline when we realize theoretically the discipline of the multiphase flow. At present, there are many aspects worth while research about the simulated calculation on multiphase flow pipeline. Based on it, calculated models of multiphase flow pipeline have been studied in the paper and simplified steady-state models have been obtained, which is assured that can be used to predict pressure drop and flow parameters of the multiphase flow pipeline. At the same time, Daqing Oilfield has been in a period of ultrahigh water cut. On this situation frictional resistance is reduced, which provides the advantage for further cutting down consume of energy of transportation system and saving investment. Therefore, flow regime and pressure drop of ultrahigh water cut oil in pipeline have been carried out by experiment. Flow regime of ultrahigh water cut oil in pipeline has been concluded and method that is suitable for pressure drop calculation in production pipeline has been summed up. The law of pressure drop of ultrahigh water cut oil has also been studied. The paper is important for multiphase flow pipeline to design properly, administer effectively and run economically.
