Petroleum industry is the mainstay one to determine global economy vitals, so theexploitation, transportation and refine of crude oil can not slighting to social well-balancedfunction. Drag reduction(DR) in conduits turn into one hotspot of the macromoleculechemistry. So study on the ultra high molecular weight polymer was at the bottom ofextensive attention. Lots scientists and corporation participate in collated study andproduction.Study on the drag reduction agents(DRA) was expand quickly in national for the mostbenefit application was in petroleum industry. DRA is one kind of polyolefin flexiblemacromolecule polymer with molecular weight beyond 100 thousand. Adding sprinkle it inliquid will lead to transportation increase and resistance reduce. The DRA of wemanufactured is a kind of α-olefin polymerization. The process of synthesize macromolecule polymer use Ziegler-Natta catalyst by meansof olefin polymerization was rigorous for polymerize technics. For masspolymerization ,temperature is the most important factor beside catalyst, especially thetemperature charge of beforehand polymerization has distinct influence for performance ofpolymer. DDS is one of the indispensability components to gain the high relatively molecularpolymer with the better DR and chain structural. DDS has marketable infection topolymerization under all kinds of conditions participating in this reaction as external electrondonor although the dosage is small. The concentration of DDS will influence more factors, such as the catalyst active, isotactic index of polymer, relative molecular mass, even chainstructural. Influence of third component(DDS) to the active centers was the emphases reviewitem. The influence of polymerization temperature, polymerization time and catalyst tosynthesis was discussed. Both issues such as the technics reliability and reaction mechanismin course of olefin synthesis need more investigation.
