Water is vital factor on which human being depend to exist. With the rapid development of industry and agriculture,people's living standard has been greatly improved.The pollution of water has been becoming more and more serious. It is threat to human health and destroies stabilization of the whole ecosystem.Heavy metal are serious inorganic contamination in water. Tourmaline has well piezoelectricity , permanent spontaneous pole. And it can change the value of oxidation and deoxidize of the water. It can also decompose water. These unique properties make tourmaline has many well performance.using tourmaline of NeiMeng ChiFeng as absorbent and useing heavy metal as absorbate in this paper.The relation between experiment factors and adsorbent effect is studied.The Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm are used to describe the performance of absorbent.selecting adsorption is studied in mixing Cu2+ and Zn2+ solution.the adsorption is studied in actual waste water.And the adsorbent law and mechanism is discussed in the course of adsorption.The experiment results showed that it has good adsorption effect to heavy metal such as Cu2+ , Zn2+ and Pb2+ by tourmaline.By the study of relation between single experimental factor such as adsorption time,tourmaline amount,initial pH of solution and adsorption temperature etc and adsorption effect,the optimum adsorptive removal rate can be obtained: t = 20min , m=10g/L , pH = 6.5 7.5 , C0 = 31.77mg/L,T=50℃,removal rate of Cu2+ reaches 99.6%; t=10min, m=5g/L, pH= 5.0—6.0, C0 = 103.6mg/L,T=30℃,removal rate of Pb2+ is 99.9%; t=30min, m=15g/L, pH = 6.57.5, C0 = 32.7mg/L,T=50℃,the removal rate of Zn2+ is 99.3%.That the tourmaline ultrofine powder adsorbs Cu2+ , Zn2+ and Pb2+ accords with langmuir and freundlich isotherm.the saturated adsorptive capacity of Cu2+ is 12.7mg/g, the saturated adsorptive capacity of Pb2+ is 49mg/g, the saturated adsorptive capacity of Zn2+ is 6.4mg/g.
