Study On Ecological Water Requirement Of Vegetation In Jinghe Watershed

Vegetation is the basal component constituting the part of biology which can optimize theentironment, and it also must consume certain quantities of water which is just the base ofecological water required for vegetation. Jinghe River is the secondary branch of HuangheRiver which originates from Erlong River in Jingyuan county subjecting to NingxiaMunicipality, and it passes through 31 counties in Ningxia,Gansu and Shanxi provinces andmunicipalities, thereinto,5 subjecting to Ningxia and another 13 are separately subjecting toGansu and Shanxi provinces, the regions above by and large are between East-Longitude of106°14′and 108°42′,North-Latitude of 34°46′and 37°19′. The north of Drainage basin JingheRiver is loess-knap, the middle of that is loess,the west-south and east-south are separatelyMountain-woodland and Moutain-river areas, consequently, the basin is one part of areas thewater-soil degeneration heavy, and the origin of bedload in Huanghe River. This basin locatesinland and the north and middle of it are respectively drought-area and sim-drought-area,accordingly,shortagement of water becomes the main factor that restricts social and economicalsustainable development and and disturbs the ecological construction in that regions. The authorwants to master the usage of water and the process of hydrology by quantitative and qualitativeanalysis's subject to ecological water requirement of three types of vegetation which aredecomposed of woodland, meadow and cropper in the paper, and provide compositive decisionsto optimize the collocation of water & soil resources, and improve the quality of environment.At the same while, the author want to provide with academic dependence for the structuraladjustments of agriculture, forestry and stockbreeding as well as the adjustment forinside-constructure of agriculture, and promote the sustainable development and help settlesome questions about country, farmers and agriculture by quantitative analysis's subjecting toecological water requirement of various types of vegetation.The main objective of the research is to calculate the ecological water requirement ofevery county in Jinghe watershed and the whole watershed , then to analyze the problems inreality .The specific objectives are::(1)to research the conception and its development ofecological water requirement;(2)to make certain the ecological water requirement quotas of...
