The Simulation And Analysis Of The Flow In Lattice Extrusion Tube Die

The lattice extrusion die becomes more and more popular in extruding polyolefin tube , specially in extruding larger diameter polyolefin tube, because of its lower die pressure, higher output, more convenient assemblage and maintenance. But there have been little researches about lattice extrusion die now, both on the flow behaviors in it and on its design. Based on the consideration mentioned above, this dissertation focuses on the simulation and analysis of the flow in the lattice extrusion die, and the author exploit the affection on the flow in lattice extrusion die, which may be aroused from the geometrical parameters, the process techniques, or the rheological attribute.This dissertation deeply researches the general flow mechanism in the lattice extrusion die through the method of combining extrusion experiment with numerical simulation.
