The precharged-droplets spray technique has remarkable effect on the small particles, especially on the respirable dust. And it also has the merit of low energy-consumption, cheap price and no second pollution. Considering the two aspects of energy and environment protection, the precharged-droplets spray technique has a broad prospect in dust collection field. The numerical simulation experimentation has been done in order to find out the principle and the influence factors.By analyzing the powers imposed on the particle in spray charging precipitator, based on Newton motion law, the trajectory equation of the single particle was put forward with Lagrangian approach. The mathematical model of single particle-trajectory was established and the relevant modeling software box was programmed based on MATLAB, by which the mathematical model can be simulated to make it visual. The capture mechanism of inertia impaction, electrostatic effect, interception and so on was analyzed in the simulation experiment and the capture mechanism of charged droplets was compared with that of uncharged droplets. The experimentation comes to an important conclusion that electrostatic power is considered as the major factor to the small particle of low speed. To the particles in size range of 0.1-1μm whose stocks is less than 0.1, the electrostatic effect plays an important role; while the electrostatic effect is not obvious to the particle whose diameter is more than 2um.
