Flavanone and flavone derivatives including biologically active natural products and Pharmaceuticals are important compounds because of their a variety of bioactivities. In recent years, it has attracted many chemists to do research on them, it has become one of the important research fields of organic chemistry. In this thesis, the synthetic methods of flavanone and flavone derivatives were described. A series of flavanone (5a-51) and flavone (6a-6f) derivatives were prepared by catalysis under the moderate conditions in good yields. The new method described is the first report based on our knowledge. In addition, a series of new thiazole derivatives (7a-7f) and (8a-8f) were synthesized by the reaction of acylthioureas and 1,3-dibromoacetone in excellent yields. At the same time, the structures of all new compounds were confirmed by IR, NMR and MS spectra and X-ray analyses. Furthermore, the rational mechanisms were proposed for reactions mentioned above.
