In recent years, humic acid—an organic material— has been widely applied in the fields of industry, agriculture, livestock husbandry, fishery, medicine, sanitation, petroleum, building materials, and environmental protection etc. In humic, fulvic acid appears to be most active. In nature leonardite is rich in fulvic acid calcium. However the dissolution rate of abstracting fulvic acid from leonardite is always low. Hence the rare natural materials active in nature are wasted considerably. This study raises a key question about science and technology, i.e. to make a study on the calcium solution equilibrium of fulvic acid, and to increase the dissolution rate of fulvic acid, consequently to supply a theoretic basis for various applications.Present thesis based on the leonardite in Jincheng, focuses on a study on the solution equilibrium of fulvic acid in raw coal. For fulvic acid calcium, although Ca+ is a bivalence hydronium, Ca+and the fulvic acid molecular is a hydronium bond instead of a coordinate bond. Therefore from the acid solution, coordination solution and temperature, there is a quantitative research and a qualitative analysis of it that is difficult to dissolve, fulvic acid itself is a kind of mixture which has no certain molecular formula and molecular weight. With the variation of solution conditions, its constitution changes, and accordingly the molecular weight varies. So in acid solution, because of the different pH of the solution, the constitution of fulvic acid in the phases is different, even it is the case that is under the same temperature and that the substances are of different molecular weigh. So the equilibrium constant of acid solution for fulvic acid is a function not only related to temperature, but related to the solution conditions. After processing the equilibrium data based on maths model, the constant of acid solution is concluded, therefore the laws of its solution are grasped, and in turn providing scholars in related fields with reference. In the meanwhile a scientific test about the impact of coordination solution and temperature on its solution is made so as to find a best condition for solution and to provide a theoretic evidence forsolution separation. In the study, there is a synthesis application of different disciplines and theories, such as coal chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, humic chemistry, colloid chemistry, the physical chemistry, and coordination chemistry etc. This study mainly aims to find out the best condition for solution among many, to grasp the established laws in solution, and to enrich the basic applicable theory of humic chemistry. This study draws the conclusions as the following:(l)the molecular weight of fulvic acid decreases when the temperature rises and pH increases leading to higher temperature and smaller decreasing extent; (2) there is almost the same impact on the laws for fulvic acid solution from the dissolvent of HCl and H2SO4 respectively, which is confirmed by the approximate data got during the study; (3)under different temperatures, fulvic acid calcium is hard to dissolve when the acidity is too high or low, in which HCl and H2SO4 of different pH is used as the dissolvent, while the solution reaches the highest point when pH is 1.35; what's more the higher the temperature is the greater the solution is; (4) With the variation of pH and temperature , constitution offulvic acid changes, and accordingly the molecular weight varies. So making a calculation of the equilibrium of acid constant about fulvic acid calcium, we find out that the constant differs from each other with the same temperature but different pH, and when pH is 1.35 the constant is the biggest; when the temperature is raised, the equilibrium constant of acid solution increases, and the extent of increasing is becoming smaller, and nevertheless it comes to the biggest when pH is 1.35. (5) under the acid condition, the impact of adding coordination on fulvic acid calcium is little; (6)under alkali condition, an iota of fulvic acid dissolves, but when coordination EDTA is added, the solution of it improves greatly; (7)the amount of EDTA and the concentration of the alkali solution have a great influence on the solution, and when the concentration of the alkali solution reaches 20g/l and the mol ratio of the amount of EDTA and alkali solution is 1:4, the solution reaches the best, which goes far beyond that under the acid condition.
