Study On Network Technology Of Numerical Control Machine Tool

With the wide using of computer technology, intelligence and network are becoming the main direction of the numerical control machine tool. At present, some enterprises in the home possess the numerical control machine tool majority is quite backward, these machine tools use RS-232 serial communicating with outside. The big disadvantage of this correspondence is the LOC can not be too long and the remote control is unable directly to achieve. In allusion to the technic problem of network manufacturing in enterprise, put forward "study on network technology of NC machine tool".This paper gives a detail research to XH714 Vertical numeral control machining center of the Engineering Training Center of Dalian University of Technology. It uses RS-232C series interface as a communication interface. We use VC++6.0 as a empolder tool, give some research as fellows:(1) Using a economic and viable method apply with numerical control machine tool which in existence, thus make them fit the requiring of network manufacturing. The remote control of numerical control machine tool is due to the problem when in numerical control machining how to solve the NC program of receiving and sending. According to the ability of machine tool, distribute the machining task in reason, save the NC program. We can solve the problem of machine tool with web and using Internet put NC program in every machine tool. We introduce protocol conversion uniting web strategy to get over the machine tool with RS-232 serial.(2) Transmit NC program and controls parameter etc made by CAD/CAM software on remote computer to sever PC. Then sever PC transmit them into the machine tool's store by DNC software as text file;Realizing transfers of NC program and controls parameter etc, and machining in real time.(3) Microsoft Visual C++ 6. 0 based on Windows is used as empolder tool, imitate function and user interface are designed, Numerical control program imitation software is developed, too.By it, NC programs made by CAD/CAM software are imitated as machine tool machining in order to validate the correctness of the program. CNC's setting parameters can be inquired about. Machining tool's route is imitated to make designer to optimize NC programs better based on CNC's setting parameters.
