Sucker rod is an important component of the equipments in oil extraction with perch, and malfunction often occurs for its defects. Over a long period of time, there has been no available, reliable and high-efficient method to inspect the defects in sucker rod in its running and maintenance. Based on the sufficient research of the sucker rods inspection history and actuality, it analyses the form of defect, and offers design scheme of no-blind testing system with magnetism method, demonstrates the feasibility of testing movement scheme, flow, data collection and system layout. Aimed at the inspection specialty of main body and both ends of sucker rod and inspection method based on the loop magnetization, it goes deep into research of effective inspection method for the two sections. In the inspection method of main body of sucker rod, it dissertates the theory of magnetization based on loop, designing of magnetization implement, designing the structure of testing sensor in detail. Then it offers experiment study and the result of quantification study for testing; In the testing method of the both ends of sucker rod, it dissertates the designing of magnetization implement for both ends inspection, designing the structure of sensor. Then it offers experiment study and method of signal processing. Integrating with the research results of testing method of main body and both ends of sucker rod, the paper also dissertates the research of no-blind testing system for sucker rod. It systemic designs the testing integration of main port and end of sucker rod, accessorial institution of the system, data collection system, auto control system and so on. It has manufactured several equipments. At last, it offers some pictures and testing results in locale. It indicates in practice that the no-blind testing system based on loop magnetization can inspect the defect of sucker rod fast, automatic and reliably. The inspection system we have designed has been used in several oil fields, and has got recognized broadly.
