Oilgathering is a process of collecting, purifying and transporting the output material from oil well, which is the key process of the ground production in oil field. How to manage and supervise this process for the purpose of production efficiency and reducing the costs has become a critical task that needs to be solved immediately. The current application of enterprise information management system keeps database, paper and table separately. Given that oil field has so many on-ground and under-ground facilities and equipments, which have a complicated spatial relation in multiple locations, a new pattern of management based on GIS(Geographical Information System) has been developed. By taking the advantage of GIS in graph display and spatial analysis, each equipment has been designed as an entity and been connected with specified database. The new pattern based on GIS should integrate every management application in oil field and share the information of production. The platform of GIS has become a representation tier of new application, and has realized the integration of tables, graphs, words and files. By utilizing vector graph provided by GIS system, the new application makes the analysis and supervision of real time production data come true. In order to realize the information management pattern of oilgathering of oil field, the author has designed an electronic map in accordance with the needs of oilgathering engineering, and also has conducted the vectorization regulation and design of underground pipelines. In an environment of Windows.Net, the new application uses Components of MapX in managed environment, and has proved the correctness and the feasibility of the new pattern and its computer code.
