Recently, with the increasing of ozone concentration near the ground and more seriousindoor contamination, attention is focused on ozone as an indoor contaminant. Thissubject has studied the issues related with indoor ozone, such as the ozone deposit ofmaterial surface, reaction of ozone with VOC (volatile organic compound), secondarycontaminants, and ozone disinfection. Firstly, recommend the deposit theory andindoor-concentration-predict model. Based on these theories, we have made theexperiment to study the ozone deposit of five kinds of material in a stainless box. Andwe testified the feasibility of the indoor-concentration-predict model. Secondly, thereaction of ozone with organic compound of not saturated bonds was studied in onechamber, which was made of glass. The toluene was chosen as a reactant. In aconclusion, the experimental result is consisting with the chemical theory. The ozonedecay with toluene becomes faster than without toluene. But ozone-toluene reactionproduced the secondly contaminants, for example the particles. In addition, we have studies the ozone source, elimination of greenhouse, the level ofozone contamination and the ozone disinfection. The ozone concentration ofclean-room and greenhouse, which was disinfected with ozone, doesn't reach theeffective value regulated by the relate nation standard. Also, we have studied thefactors influencing the ozone concentration, and the rule of ozone remainder decay.According to the measured ozone concentration in the ozone-disinfection area, validate that the ozone evaluation model and the predicted model is feasible to studythe ozone concentration.
