Affected by the climate, our country is so uneven on the rainfall distribution that induces thevicious circle on the water environment: the deteriorating of ecological environment because ofwater shortage-severe water pollution -water shortage on the watershed. Shortage of water supplyis not only impact on people's radical life, but also impact on the national politics. In order tofulfill the water requirement of cities and towns, water transfer project gradually become animportant role on water guarantee. As the development of the economy and the improvement ofthe standard of living, as well as people's increment of water usage, we concentrate on the watersecurity and water quality problem.Combined with water transfer project from Yellow River to Tianjin, based on continuityequation, momentum equation, free water surfer equation, equation of state and water qualitytransport equation, the equations are solved with finite difference method. This thesis establishes awater quality model of water transfer project from Yellow River to Tianjin.Based on the water quality model of water transfer project from Yellow River to Tianjin, thisthesis simulates and verifies the hydrodynamic and the water quality on the river from Yellowriver to Tianjin. The comparison of simulation results with field data of hydrodynamic and waterquality constituents show that the simulated results identify with the field data. It can simulate andpredict the water quality along the river from Yellow river to Tianjin more precisely. Thesimulated results show that the water quality arriving Jiuxuanzha station is â…¢ standard forsurface water. After several days, the pollutant is taken and diffused from Cuizhuang station toJiuxuanzha station, with decreasing during the transportation process. This model could providedependable water quality data for every section on the transfer route, and it can predict the statusof water quality in Tianjin, which saves time and manpower compared with field test. Additionally,it can simulate the water quality status after some sudden events, and provide scientific foundationon decision. The thesis develops water quality simulation visual software with VB.NET. The softwareincludes data input, model calculation and demo output. It can prove the visual interface of waterquality model calculation, and realize the interaction between the user and machine more flexibly. And it gives more details about the software function in the user manual.
