The integral rubber-SIBR is an ideal rubber, which has improved rolling resistance,improved wet skid resistance, and outstanding tread wear. It is terpolymer of styrene, isoprene and butadiene. It gives improved performance in passenger car tyres. SIBR is characterized by having rigidity structure as SSBR which gives improved wet skid resistance and improved safety of cars, and having soft structure as BR which gives improved rolling resistance , low-temperature performance and outstanding tread wear. Therefore, SIBR integrates virtues of all kinds of rubbers and it can make up for their shortcomings.This paper researches terpolymer SIBR and it is synthesized with n-BuLi as initiator, coclohexane as solvent and SnCl4 as coupling agent in 5L reactor and 500L reactor. In batch process researches the changes of microstructure of SIBR with the variety of THF or TMEDA, and researches the mechanical properties and dynamic properties of SIBR with the variety of THF or TMEDA. The variety regularity of microstructure of SIBR with variety of BuLi/THF/Ka system is found. A pilot-scale chemical reaction of SIBR in batch process is accomplished. Researches the rate of terpolymerization of SIBR, elevation of temperature, viscosity and stabilization of system. SIBR synthesized in 500L reactor shows that the mechanical properties of SIBR fit to the requests of tire tread, and dynamic properties of SIBR prospect potential application of high performance tires, an block SIBR is synthesized in 5L reactor by adding THF in mediu-term of reaction. By changing the time of adding THF, the SIBR has a structure of IB-SIB is produced and it shows that the mechanical properties of SIBR fit to the requests of tire tread, and dynamic properties of SIBR prospect potential application of high performance tires. It is an ideal rubber which has improved rolling resistance, improved wet skid resistance, and outstanding tread wear.
