The exploitation and application in paper-making industry of Yuxian bentonite were investigated, the preparation of production with good capability can accelerate the ecnomic development of Hebei province, and can also be beneficial to resolving the problem such as material and pollution in paper-making industry at present.The bentonite was modified by sodium carbonate, sodium citrate and organic reagent, the samples were applied in the microparticle retention and drainage aid experiment. The IR, Zeta potentical and particle size of samples were analyzed. The results indicate that the microparticle retention and drainage aid effect of modified sample by organic reagent is better than modified sample by sodium reagent, and the effect of modified sample by organic reagent A has exceeded the imported bentonite. Zeta potentical and particle size are the most important factors in relation to the microparticle retention and drainage aid effect, higher Zeta potential and smaller particle size are favorable in improving the retention and drainage aid effect of bentonite on paper furnish.The bentonite adding 3% C was baked at 600℃,TiO2/bentonite photocatalyts and samples doped by Ag+,Zn2+,Ce3+ were prepared by using metatitanic acid. The photocatalytic activity was evaluation by using Erio Orange II as an objective degradation organics,The results indicate that TiO2/bentonite photocatalyt doped by Ag+ has higher photocatalytic activity under UV and sunlight. So we can degradate waste water containing dye using TiO2/bentonite photocatalyt doped by Ag+ under sunlight in colourpaper-making Corporation. It can avoid endangering on person and high investment of UV.The optimal preparation condition of activated Fuller earth was investigatd in this thesis.The activatation grade,free acid,rate of de-inking and BET surface area of activated Fuller earth were analyzed. The results show that activated Fuller earth attains to chemical industry HG/T2569-94 standard. The kinetics of Acid Brilliant Pink B adsorbed by activated Fuller earth was also studied.lt shows that it's adsorption kinetics comply with Bangham and Langmuir rate equation.
