Research And Development Of CAPP System Based On XML About Face-milling Cutter With Unequal Blade Spacing

Computer Aided Process Planning is one of the important contents of modern planning method. This subject, in terms of the practice of Tool Manufactory, combining the Variant pattern and Generative pattern of CAPP planning method and meanwhile applying XML technology, develops a CAPP system of face-milling cutter with unequal blade spacing (BDCJX-CAPP system).The thesis systematically introduces the development of CAPP in domestic and abroad nowadays and the development of its supporting theory and technique. It plans the whole structure of the system, analyzes the feasibility, as well as the specific functions of respective functional module of the system. The BDCJX-CAPP system based on XML technology is elaborated in this thesis. After introducing the general procedure of database planning based XML, it establishes the system database which includes craft rules database, process remaining choice database, machine tool choice data base and so on. It also emphatically introduces the indicating way of generative pattern and craft planning data, and realizes the adjustment of craft rules through relevant calculation and the choice of machine tool, which consequently leads to the complete of process planning.The realization of user information and process planning management is discussed. To guarantee the safety of product data, the MD5 algorithm is introduced into the management of user information. The implementation of the BDCJX-CAPP system shows that it is proved to be a comparatively self-contained process planning system being able to be extended with friendly interface and higher efficiency, which can improve the efficiency of process planning and enhance the process design level of the enterprise.
