Whether gas field water is expelled or injected, the processes need the same higher standard to the suspended particulate. In this case, the reaction of flocculation and sedimentation which is used to dispose suspended particulate, is the key factor in the water-treatment process. The effect of the reaction is good or bad will determine the following result, such as the latest water quality, the cost of entire treatment and so on. Category of flocculants will directly affect flocculation's effect. In order to make sure that oil and gas in Sichuan and Chong Qing can be natural and efficient explored, this subject get the best kind of flocculants, running condition and reactor by doing plenty of experiment and theory study. The research findings will be significant to design and application of gas field water treatment process.The first part of the thesis gets different factors of all phase in the course of floccules' formation through studying the best water power condition in the process. This subject conducts systematic evaluation of flocculants, oxidizers and inhibitors among common gas field water treatment agents currently used in the gas fields in Sichuan Province based upon the physical and chemical features and conventional treatment processes of gas field water in Sichuan Province are developed. The best kind of flocculates with efficient treatment outcome and satisfactory cost performance ratio will be selected by comparing their sedimentation effectiveness and the purification efficiency of COD and sulfide. In experiment, the medicament spreading, water power and the like factor being full considered. The research findings will be applicable both for the treatment modes of discharge and reinjection .The second part of the thesis, the expression of radial-speed V of flocculation been educed by analyzing the flocculation process, flocculation reaction and flocculation theory. What's important is that the expression offers evidence for choosing flocculation reactor.
