Ozonation and its combination with other waste water treatment are effective deep treatment processes with advantages of stong oxidation ability, high reaction speed, feasibility of operation and no secondary pollution. Treatment of municipal wastewater by photocatalysis-ozonation and outflow of bio-treated coking wastewater by ozone assisted coagulation have been studied in this paper. The primary achievements are as following: (1) Synthesis conditions of nano-meter TiO2 photocatalyst on glass plate have been studied and anatase TiO2 photocatalyst with better catalytic efficiency can be gained in the conditions of pH=1 and500-600 ℃ calcining temperature ; (2) The process of municipal wastewater treatment by photocatalysis-ozonation(UV/ TiO2/O3) has been studied. After 3 hours rection time, the removal of COD and NH3-N are up to 95% and to 70%; (3) A polot (0.25t/h) study of municipal waste water treatment by photocatalysis-ozonation was done in Wuhan municipal wastewater treatment plant. With 2 hours HRT ,COD in outflow is less than 30 mg/L and the cost is 2.56 Yuan/ton; (4) An orthogonal experiment design was done to optimize the parameters of coagulantion assisted ozonation of bio-treatment outflow of coking wastewater. Pretreatment by ozone can enhance the coagulation ability of the coagulants.
