Research On High Gloss Aqueous Coatings

Aqueous coating has advantages of no-toxicity, no-contamination, lower cost, convenient transportation and steady quality of production, and is the environmental product, and has become the study emphasis in the field of varnish oil for paper at present. It has been the new type of glazing material for printing, and is becoming the development direction.Some problems in the compound process of the high gross aqueous coatings are studied. Firstly, the paper introduces the present conditions of coat process and apply foreground of the coatings. And analyses advantages and weaknesses of three kinds of coatings. Then concludes that the aqueous coatings must be a developing tendency. Through analyses the defects in some capacities of aqueous coatings, such as glossiness, water resistance and so on. And raises the contents and directions of the study. Then introduces the components of the aqueous coatings, and each component's influence to the coatings' capacities. Additional, expounds the theories which used in the studying.The main content of the study is to get the component of the high gloss aqueous coatings, to improve the presswork quality in glossiness with aqueous coatings, but also to guarantee aqueous coatings on better water-repellency and some other better nature to ensure their techniques after printing. It gets the relations between components and glossiness through experiments, and how the components effect the quality of aqueous coatings.The paper expounds the very important part that is the experiment. Analyses and contrast the achievement of the experiment in detail. And solve the problems which is about acrylic resin's dissolve in the aqueous coatings producing process. Through studying and analyzing four formulas aqueous coatings' capacities, it concludes that the factors influence the aqueous coatings' capacities, and appraises the composite capacities of several aqueous coatings. It makes sense to guide the research of the aqueous coatings in future.
