As a kind of commonly used plastic printing technology, there are wide development prospects in gravure printing; it is widely used at home and abroad. In gravure printing techniques, the correct drying parameter is not only the key to the quality of printing image, but also the assurance which make remaining amount of solvent accord with the hygienic requirements. However, in the plastic gravure printing production process, because the dry parameter of the dry device is influenced by many conditions, the drying parameter is hardly confirmed, and now the problem still exists. Because the sureness of the dry parameter depends on the operator's experience, so before reaching the best state of printing often carries on a large amount of regulation; this caused the waste and reduced production efficiency.Up till now, the drying of the gravure printing machine has not a unified theory model; the reason is that there are too many factors influencing drying, and the printing ink drying is a dynamic course of, which is very difficult to measure. So it is essential to find a model that is suitable for fixing drying parameters of gravure printing.Based on the heat and mass transfer theory, analyzed the main Influencing factor of ink in depth, for instance hot air temperature , hot air speed , initial content of solvent and so on, thus offer the theoretical foundation for confirming parameter of gravure printing drying system. Through researching in characteristic of ink on press products in drying process and influence factor, each influence factor is tested, and multinomial regression analysis, a mathematics model was founded on the parameter of press products convection drying and remaining amount of solvent, and has realized with the programming of the software. Confirming the drying parameter of gravure printing machine by calculating accurately, which provides a basis for optimized design of drying techniques and process controlled, in order to Guide production and avoid the waste caused by regulating repeatedly.
