Abstract/Summary:
Training system of NC machining is attached importance not only in thecorporation but also in training. In this dissertation, NC milling machine is theresearched object. The theoretical methods and key techniques of NC millingsimulation training system are studied. On the basis of virtual reality techniques andsolid modeling theories, the NC milling machine three-dimensional simulationtraining system based on NC code is developed, associated with the computergraphics technology and virtual reality technology. The main works of thisdissertation is as follows:1. The virtual NC system is designed. The real FANUC system control panel isadopted in the system interface and traditional menu interface is changed, whichincreases third dimension of training system.2. The dealing method of NC code and the theory of compiling are studied. Interms of programming criterion of FANUC system, the translator of NC code isdesigned and interpolation algorithms of NC instruction are realized. And the NCcutter location information file is produced to drive NC machining training system.3. The machining parameter optimization system of NC code is designed in theprocess of compiling NC code. Illogical parameter is advanced by result that data intechnical parameter base is compared with parameter of NC program, which makestrained persons understand machining parameters deeply.4. In order to represent, display and process movement of NC milling machine,geometric modeling and the movement modeling are built and virtual milling machinemovement is realized, based on the analysis of the structure and movement of millingmachine, hierarchy modeling methods realized.5. The solid representation models and their data structures of machined parts arepresented according to the characteristics of milling processes. Dynamic simulate ofvirtual machining process is realized. Upon the structure, the algorithms for detectingthe collision and intervention between machined part and cutter in simulation areadvanced.Because of the OpenGL being used in 3-D modeling, solid modeling is realisticand less computer resource is occupied. The running rate of system is improved.
