Studies On Chu-state's Mining & Smelting Technology And Society Economy Development In The Pre-Qin Period

In the respect of the copper-mining, according as the archaeological information of ancient mining and smelting site at Tonglushan in Hubei province, the paper gives a brief introduction to the ancient Jiangnan copper-mine, Daye Tonglusahn, and mkes a comparative explanation to Chu-state's importance. As the following description, Chu-state's discovery and prove as well as exploration of copper mine are particularly studied. As for mining and smelting technology of copper mine, the combination of smelting copper's raw material, including copper mine ore, charcoal and iron mine charcoal, are also weightily analyzed. As for the core part of copper mining tech, the paper makes a deep discussion, which illustrates fully the ancient Chu-state people's high level of copper-smelting.
