The beat-up mechanism is a key component of the loom. It's structural form and movement performance affect directly the quality of the loom.In this paper, the principle of a new style rapier loom's beat-up motion is researched;the reverse math model and formula of the motion curve is reconstructed based on the structure geometry and kinematics. The structure is developed with the normal CAM design and motion optimization principle, and the analysis software for the corresponding procedures is worked out.With conjugate cams' profile curves which comes from a new type rapier loom, the knowledge of beat-up mechanism and some general motion of beat-up is introduced firstly in this paper. While the factors having great impact on the performance of beat-up motion are explored, the basic principles of goodmovement patterns and requirements are obtained. Subsequently, with application of the reverse design principles, the original design parameters of beat-up motion are restored.The conjugate cams are reconstructed by three means. One is carrying on the fitting to the cam data and the second is calculating the conjugate cam profile accurately by introducing trapezoidal and trigonometrical function acceleration curve.According to the parameter design principle of conjugate cam, the geometry size fetter of the loom structure is broken. On the basis of kinematics analysis and performance optimization, with the angle of pressure be taken as the basic limiting condition, the beat-up mechanism is redesigned.In order to better meet the Enterprise requirements and the more effectively complete above process, interface software is completed with MATLAB language in this paper, and at the end, the new type and redesign conjugate cam mechanism are analyzed with virtual prototype technology, which will provide reference for the later type transformation.Lizhijie (Mechanical Manufacturing&Automation)Supervised by Prof__________...
