Electro-magnetic wave penetrating composite materials is one of the key technologies of guided vehicle. Aluminum phosphate composite has similar performance with quartz ceramic and quartz fibre reinforced silicon dioxide composite in the condition of under 800℃, it also has less cost and short production circle, so it become one of the preferred antenna cover material of tactics missile. We use high silica glass fibre reinforced aluminium phosphate matrix to manufacture electro-magnetic wave penetrating composite. This paper studies the mechanic properties with different P/Al molar ratio, processing technics, pretreatment of fibers and heat treatment of high silica glass cloth reinforced aluminum phosphate composite, and discusses which induce the sharply descendent of mechanic properties of these composites. This paper also studies dielectric properties with different P/Al molar ratio, processing pressure and frequency of high silica glass cloth reinforced aluminum phosphate composite. The results showed that the composite has the best mechanic property which flexural strength was 107MPa, when P/Al molar ratio was 1;the flexural strength of composite increase to 121MPa when coating of the glass;the flexural strength of the composite fall down sharply to 19MPa when the temperature of heat processing arise to 500℃;the dielectric constant and dielectric loss tangent are increase with the growth of P/Al molar ratio, also does the moisture absorption;this composite has well dielectric properties which dielectric constant was less than 4.1 and dielectric loss tangent was less than 0.03 with P/A1<1.1 and testing frequency 3MHz;increased processing pressure would raise the dielectric constant a little;the frequency dependence showed that this composite followed the universal relation in the frequency range 1.0kHz to 3MHz.
