The sunlight conversion agricultural film (SCF) that has become an important agricultural material is a new functional film that boosts the growth of plants by converting the ultraviolet light and green light to blue light and red light needed by the plants. This study was rising in 1990s in the world. But there has been no unification trade criterion for the light conversion properties of SCF. So it has important academic significance and application value to study the fluorescence spectral properties of SCF and establish a method for the spectra analysis of it.In this thesis, the fluorescence spectral properties of Mono-matrix sunlight conversion agent with double-function RBI, in-organic red light agent RI, organic red light agent RO and the corresponding dual-emission and red light farm films have been studied systemically. A method of qualitative and quantitative analysis for sunlight-conversion agent (SCA) and SCF (called sunlight transform material) has been established with the use of HITACHI F-4500 Fluorescence Spectrophotometer.1. Fluorescence spectrophotometers, method and conditions for the determination of fluorescence spectra of agricultural sunlight transform materials were investigated. The determination of fluorescence spectra of agricultural sunlight transform materials was found to have close relationship with the type of fluorescence spectrophotometers and testing conditions. It can be sure that the excitation and emission spectra of light conversion film will not distortion by using HITACHI F-4500 Fluorescence Spectrophotometer with Photomultiplier Tube (PMT) R928, light filter U39, slit 5nm, scan speed1200nm/min.2. The emission intensity of SCF with different thickness was tested by using front-face fluorescence . The analysis results indicate that the emission intensity of transparent SCF increased with the thickness of SCF initially, then becomes constant gradually. Luminescent intensity of SCF with light transmittance over 85% is steady when the thickness of the film is more than 0.56mm. So the thickness of transparent SCF should be more than 0.56mm when tested by fluorescence spectrophotometer.3. The emission spectra within blue area of SCF is interfered by the characteristic spectra of Xe-lamp from fluorescence spectrophotometer and that of the resins and plastic additives in SCF, which can be corrected with reference film.4. The new analysis method was confirmed by testing the sunlight conversion agents RBI , RI, RO and their corresponding films. Results of qualitative analysis of fluorescence properties for four kinds of greenhouse SCF and mulch SCF showed that the emission spectra of SCF got by the new analysis method is consistent with that of the SCA. So the qualitative analysis method is right. Quantitative analysis results of light conversion properties can be got through the area of emission spectra of SCF and the ratio of Ar/Ab calculated by software origin 6.0. Results of the intensity of red-emitting (Ar) and blue-emitting (Ab) are consistent with the amount of the SCA, which shows that the quantitative analysis method is reliable.
