Oil smoke contaminant consists of various deleterious contents. To dispose the gas effectively, we screened different strains which could degrade fatty acid, grease, aldehyde and oil smoke from the soil. They were identified as Bacillus cereus.ZD-4,Pseudomonas sp. ZD-2 , Pseudomonas sp. ZD-3 and Pseudomonas sp. ZD-8.The optimization experiments of Bacillus cereus.ZD-4 were carried out including the fermentation conditions and the degradation conditions. Through the experiments above we got the optimum fermentation conditions: the concentration of glucose and peptone was 23.3g/L and 5.3g/L respectively , the rotating speed of shaker was 180r/min. After 18 hours the ratio of oleic acid degradation was more than 85% under the optimized conditions that the temperature, pH and the concentration of oleic acid 33 ℃, 7.0~8.0and 0.79mg/ml correspordingly. Then the strain was immobiled on the wood (20mm×20mm×10mm), and filled into the biofilter(Φ150mm×600mm). After 15 days, when the concentration of oleic acid was less than 50mg/ m3and the gas-flow rate less than 0.55m3/h the removal ratio could stay above 90% at room temperature and 60% humidity. In mixed culture, firstly five kinds of microbes which could degrade toluene, oleic acid, grease, hexanal and oil smoke were cultured sapareterly. Then the microbes were coimmobiled on Sperculiaceae flavonoibs wood (20mm×20mm×10mm), and filled into the biofilter(Φ250mm×650mm) together. After 15 days, there was a sheet of microbe film which included cocci and bacilli on the surface of the Sperculiaceae flavonoibs wood. The operational parameters investigated included the gas-flow rate, temperature and inlet concentration. The optimal operation temperature was 30℃ and the optimized humidity was 60%. Under the above condition, when the inlet concentration was less then 380mg/m3 and the gas-flow rate was less then 0.6m3/h, the removal rate was more than 90%. The long-term performance of the biofilter is quite stable, the removal ratio could stay at 91%.The removal ratio of oil smoke was about 76.5% by the pilot equipment which was installed on the roof of NO.5 mess hall of Zhejiang University...
