Organosilicone acrylate emulsion was prepared by copolymerization of acrylate with organosilane coupling agents. Effects of different polymerization technologies on water absorption and freeze stability of the emulsion were discussed. The results show that the emulsion prepared by semi-continuous and seed pre-emulsion semi-continuous method had good waterproofing and antifreezing properties, the water absorption decreased as the vinyl triethoxylsilane content increased. But the emulsion made by added vinyl triethoxylsilane at the later stage was decomposed when it freezed, and water absorption raised with vinyl triethoxylsilane content reduce. So the semi-continuous method was the suitable one for emulsion polymerization. The effect of emulsifier type and amount on emulsion behaviors such as density, viscosity, interfacial tension, and water absorption was discussed. It was found that the hardness and water absorption of acrylate emulsion greatly affected by organosilane coupling agents. In this paper, organofluorine-silicone acrylate copolymerization emulsion with excellent behaviours was prepared either by modification of acrylate with organofluorine compounds. The special structure and action mechanism in water-and-oil resistance were discussed in details. A kind of textile marshal agents was prepared by cationic emulsion polymerization and was detected by OCA (Optical Contact Angle apparatus) .It was expected that the application of the textile marshal agent containing fluorine had a good prospects.
