Recently, ferroelectrics materials have been investigated intensively in the condensed physics and solid-state electronics fields. They have important applications in ferroelectric memories, infrared locator, acoustic surface wave and integrated photoconducting devices etc. And they are prospected functional materials.In this text, BTO ceramics, BLT ceramics and PLZT thin films were prepared by sol-gel method and characterized by XPS, XRD, AFM, SEM, TEM. Optimized processes were studied.For BTO ceramics, the impact of different amount of Bi and BTO procedure with Bi excess 10% annealed at different temperature were investigated. For BLT, I studied the influence of different amount of La doped and calculated the corresponding lattice constant. La0.8Bi3.2Ti3O12 ceramics annealed at different temperatures also was studied.PLZT thin films on ITO substrate were succeeded prepared by sol-gel method. The influences of annealed at different temperatures, time periods and methods were also explored. And the function of PbO in the annealing was analyzed by XPS, XRD.
