Above the target may reach thenational life tap water health standard. This indicated the free radicalto the domestic water disinfection, the sterilization is very strong.This article simultaneously discussed in the ozone/ultraviolet rayoxidized the water process, has discussed the pH value, the processtime, factor and so on catalyst to the COD removing rate influence.The result indicated that, the ozone/ultraviolet ray the hydroxylfree radical output compares under the acidity and the neutralcondition under the alkalinity condition the output is big;Along withprocess time increase, in water COD value more and more small, CODremoving rate more and more big, namely gives the waste water effectwith this method processing to be obvious. After its 4h the COD valuehad achieved a level discharges the standard [1], removing rate has alsoachieved 80%. May realize the water sales commission goal;isadvantageous take the metallic ion as the main body catalyst to theCOD removing rate enhancement. In this experiment, the Cu catalysteffect must be slightly good to the Mn catalyst effect. The CuCl2amount used to processes the result to have the certain influence, whenthe CuCl2 density is 50ppm the effect is best, but the MnCl2 amountused to processes the result not to have the tremendous influence.Looking at from this article processing result, the free radicaladds water COD and the bacterium removes the effect obviously, theapplication prospect is broad.
