The Research On Reconstruction Of Self-baking Cell Replaced By Pre-baked Cell

As the aluminum industry facing the strictly environment claim and the drastic market competition, it is very important to reconstruct of self-baking cell replaced cell by the original pre-baked cell. The necessity and the meaning of the reconstruction were expatiated, and the approach and the scheme of reconstruction were studied and explored in this paper. Two approaches were used to the reconstruction of self-baking cell by replaced cell. The first approach is that holding the electrolysis workshop, enlarging the capability of rectifying station, replacing the small self-baking cell by big modern pre-baked cell. The second approach is to hold the most equipment of self-baking cell such as rectifying station, workshop and cell and reconstruct it to the same level pre-baked cell. This scheme has the characteristics as follow: three fields reconstruction in electrolysis cell, optimizing the collocateion of aluminium-bus, improving the electrolysis cell, adopting narrow hearth, enhancing the output of per area, devising the advance and reasonable liner and structure of the cell, keeping the electrolysis cell good heat balance, prolonging the life of cell and minishing the distortion of cell. Combining the computer meshwork, denser phase transportation and pointly getting stuff, self- controlling the concentration of Al₂O₃ is implemented;the cost of transportation is debased, and the losing and dilapidation of stuff is reduced. In the structure, the cradle-cell was adopted;the top structure of anode was fixed on the cell;the base of primary cell is not reconstructed, and the devise of liner structure is optimized. The project has been substantiated and applied in the progress of old electrolysis cell reconstruction in the Lanzhou Liancheng aluminum factory, and the effect is remarkable.
