The Junzilan park is the shining point in urban planning of Changchun city. This parkwhich is built as a relaxing spot using the gully area gives the citizens enjoyment who live inthe city short of water when they see the flowing water. The gully in Junzilan park is heavilypolluted with the increment of population and the development of industries. The sewage ofthe gully area gives off nasty gas in summer. The polluted matter of the gully area is stillmigrating because the sewage isn′t frozen with the condition of higher temperature in winter. The one side of the gully area is park land use, and the other side is shanty. The gully water ispolluted and has effects on the surrounding environment when the largely industrial anddomestic sewage is affluxed and the gully area makes a polluted spot. To investigate thesewage of the gully area affects the surrounding habits or the surrounding ones absorbpolluted matter, this thesis discusses from the two following aspects. The one is the water quality experiment. Collecting the water samples is to bedetermined COD and TP as background values. The second is soil experiment. Collecting soil samples covered with different vegetationsuch as arbor, shrub, vegetable land samples and barren land samples along lengthwaysprofile from gully bank two meters. Measuring the available nitrogen and the availablephosphorus, organic matter, heavy metals including zinc, lead and copper contents is byindoor experimental approaches. The soil covered with different vegetation absorbs manykinds of chemical elements by statistical analysis and comparative analysis or that is todiscuss the different vegetations which affect elements migration. This can offer basis on thefoundation of river corridor of Changchun city. This paper is divided into five sections. The first section is preface. The second one is thegeneral situation of the study area. The third one is experimental results and analyses. The lastone is the conclusion and suggestion.
