This paper mainly researches on the technique of draining long distance pressure relief gas in bed plate tunnel under the circumstance of mining protective coal seam. Based on the theory of gas flow and storage in coal seams and the theory of gas draining in contiguous coal seams, it analyzes the resource and formation of gas and predicts the amount of pouring gas in the working face of nether protective coal seam by employing the method of marking source, then ascertain in theory the right location of in bed plate tunnel along protected coal seams. Combing the data measured in No,3 coal mine of Panji of Huainan mining industry, simulating by the FLUENT software the regularity of the change of the pressure and flowing speed of gas, this paper ascertain the distribution and the right time and space parameter of bores through coal and rock seams in bed plate tunnel. The research shows that long distance relief gas does not swarm into the working face in protective coal seam, but the permeability of protected coal seam increases thousands of times because of mining long distance nether protective coal seam. By introducing the technique of bores through coal and rock seams in bed plate tunnel, amounts of pressure relief gas can be let out and thus the amount of gas pouring from above contiguous coal seams to mining coal seam can be reduced. The reduction of gas amount and the elimination of the danger of coal and gas outburst in proctected coal seam are of great significance to the safe production in the working face of protective coal seam and protected coal seam, worthy of implementation.Figure [42] table [15] reference [37]...
