Based on a lot of data and on-the-spot investigations, in order to study mechanism of deformation and supporting technology in extracting openings of deep mines. Multi-research methods, such as the computer numerical simulation, simulation of similar materials, field research were synthetically used in this paper. Rheological characteristics and approaches of controlling deformation of surrounding rocks, deformation characteristics of surrounding rocks and advantages of bolt-mesh-anchor in extraction opening of deep mines were found, and bolt-anchor's effect were also researched, at the same time, an idea of point of stress dividing line in anchor working area was proposed after analysis anchor's effects. Take the No.3 coal seam of Baiji coal mine as an example, bolting optimization are carried on .By comparison of technology and economy, bolt-mesh-anchor combined supports is best fitted manner. It will offer theoretical basis and practiced experience for extraction opening of deep mines.
