Hologram is an intensive research area, which is developed on chemistry, physics and materials science and technology. It is applied in many fields, such as nondestructive examination, three-dimensional display, three-dimensional storage, anti-counterfeiting, printing, bookbinding etc. The photosensitive material is one of the polymer materials that is developed quickly and applied broadly in all of the holographic recording materials. The photosensitive speed is an important qualification for the photosensitive polymer materials. The initiation system with high active photosensitivity is the current hot topic.The hexaarylbiimidazole(HABI), which has high sensitivity and strong stability, is paid a great deal of attention in many photosensitive initiation system by researchers. With the special structure of HABI, it can be photolyzed to produce triaryl free radical by UV light. The property can be used to fabricate sun-screening film, colour photographic material and initiator. HABI has no sensitivity toward visible light and long wave UV, and its maximum absorption is in the scope of 255 — 275nm.
