With the wide usage of the lamped circular saw and the high price of materials in wood industry, the kerf loss gets more attention, because it can decease the production and increase the cost. When the structure of saw is certain, it is hot how to reduce the amplitude of lateral vibration in cutting. For the aim, it is need to find the law of lateral vibration. Many researches have been done at the aspect, but most of them are interested in the lateral vibration under harmonic excitation and edge loads without cutting. The researches how the lateral force of flank cutting are a little.The aim of this thesis is to find the laws of the lateral vibration of circular saw under the flank cutting. After study, the flank cutting force has the relation with the lateral displacement, and it makes the displacement parameter resonance items with the periodic parameter in vibration equation. Actually, there are the extra disturb, so we add the extra excitation about the rotating and aerodynamic in the vibration equation. So now the question is to find the laws of the lateral forced vibration equations.Based on the Matlab and the status equation of lateral vibariong, we get the numerical spectrum in time and frequency domain at free rotating and the different conditions in cutting. According there spectrums, we make some conclusion.Finally, we make the experiments which include two aspects, one is the experimental modality analysis with the aim to ensure the accuracy of the vibration equations, the result shows the equation is logical and accurate. The other is the usage of the signal collection and analysis system with the displacement sensors, we get the actual lateral vibration of circular saw at free rotating and cutting. It is proved that the result is almost the same in numerical calculation and experices.Conclusions:1. Numerical calculation shows the lateral vibration of lamped circular saw during cutting is non-line.2. Experiences shows the system has the weak non-line.3. The Amplitude of lateral vibration in cutting is smaller than free rotationg. And with the increasement of rotating speed, the times decreases.4.
